Mexichem’s Fluor Business Group is a global leader in the development, manufacture and supply of fluoroproducts that play a fundamental role in enhancing everyday lives.

Our products are used in a vast range of applications including the construction of towns and cities, keeping homes cool, food fresh and even in the treatment of respiratory conditions as we provide the medical propellant for around 80% of the world’s Metered Dose Inhalers (MDIs).


Fluor Chain

  1. Our mine at San Luis Potosi in Mexico is the biggest single producer of fluorspar and supplies our nine manufacturing centers in Mexico, the UK, USA and Japan, accounting for over 20% of the global supply.

    It is this "mine to market" structure that ensures a secure supply chain for customers across sectors including steel: Cement, aluminum, automotive, refrigeration and medical, many of who are household names.
